LENOVO Z5 - NEW MID-RANGE COMPETITOR @ 14.5k range
After lots of teasing of completely bezel-less design by the company and storage of 4TB and other crazy features, the company today rolled out the Lenovo Z5 with completely different design and specifications.
Firstly talking about the body it is completely inspired by the Huawei P20 series with a colour changing gradient back and has a dual camera setup and fingerprint scanner at the back. Talking about the display it has a 6.2 Full HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and has a small notch at the top and thin chin at the bottom which is nowhere truely bezel-less.
It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 which makes it a true midrange phone and on the storage side it has a 64/128 GB storage with expandable memory which is again nowhere near to 4TB as it was teased a few days back and it has 6GB RAM.
On the optics side, it has a dual rear camera 16MP primary and 8MP secondary with f2.0 aperture and for the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with f2.0 aperture with an AI mode which is used to tune the image based on the scene.
It is going to be powered by 3300mah battery which might be quite sufficient for the power efficient Snapdragon 636. It also has fast charging support through USB type C port.
Talking about the price which is a very interesting aspect of the phone. The base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at 1299 Yuvan which translates to INR 14,000 - INR 15,000 which would be a tough competition for Redmi Note 5 pro if it performs well in the camera department and the 128GB storage is priced 1799 Yuvan which translates to around 20,000 INR.
