After the successful hit of Mi 5x which was renamed as Mi A1 under the android one program and now Xiaomi launched there next generation of the x series line up which is the Mi 6x and can also be called as Mi A2 as it is its successor of A1. We very well know what was the success rate of Mi A1 and to continue the trend Xiaomi has even nailed it this time.
On the display side as very well known, even this series has jumped into the 18:9 aspect ratio display, the 6x has a 6-inches 18:9 Full HD display and it is completely made out of a metal body. Under the hood, the processing is going to be handled by the powerful Snapdragon 660 which is a higher-end midrange chip and has a performance similar to that of the 810 chip.
On the optics side as expected the 6x has a dual rear camera setup where the primary camera is a 12 MP sensor and the secondary camera is a 20MP sensor with both having f1.75 aperture and for selfies, it is being handled by the 20MP sensor with a front facing flash. The company stated that they have implemented AI technology to their camera which can help to detect the scene and adjust itself.
This phone has 3 varients 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is going to be powered by 3010 mah battery and it also has support for Qualcomm quick charge 3 support with USB type C port.
Talking about the price as usual Xiaomi is aggressive in their pricing with the base variant is priced at 17,000 INR and the 6GB varient is priced at 20,000 INR and the 6GB RAM and 128 GB is priced at 22,000 INR which is really value for the powerful chip they are using. It is expected to launch very soon in India may be again under the Android one program if so and if they price it at 16k - 19k segment then it is really a tight competition for Nokia's so-called mid-range series because this phone can offer at the half at its price.
