Currently, you may be using your house WIFI or your friend's house WIFI. So have you ever wondered how each and everything like our interesting blogs reaches to you just through the air while you use your WIFI.
So today, let's learn how does this works.

Usually, WIFI signals are just radio/electromagnetic waves that travel in the air. Now coming to the point lets see how all the pictures and videos are carried through the air.

It's a very simple process these radio waves contain all the instruction to each and every pixel on your screen. For this, it uses a language called as a binary language which has only two components 0 and 1. It may also be called as off or on state respectively, which is understood by our CPU.

If all these wifi signals were visible to our eyes you can see thousands and lakhs of 0s and 1s floating around you. You can even see the message sent by your friend reaching to you in the form of 0s and 1s.

So if I have to display a picture on your screen, what happens if that's the whole picture is broken down into tiny packets with the binary information and it is sent in the air as 0s and 1s. So at the receiving end, all the instructions get converted into the image. This is the complete process behind it.

Even the WIFI has two frequencies one 2.4 and 5GHz. The 2.4 band travels more lot distance than the 5GHz, but the speed is less when compared with 5Ghz.

Nowadays file transferring apps like Shareit, Xender uses this technology of WIFI and creates a hotspot which acts like a mini router and the receiver gets connected to that specific WIFI and then file transfer is done in the usual way as mentioned above at high speeds.

Now you may wonder how the transfer rates are so fast and each and single data is broken down into packets and send to you at such high speeds. Well, this is accomplished as the radio waves are transferred at a speed of light. So our device receives information so fast and processes it and displays it.

This is all about WIFI signals. Hope you people like this post if so please do share it.
